To tackle the Canadian French translation requirements, Travod implemented a strategic approach focused on resources, cultural expertise, and tech-enabled project management.
First, we conducted a comprehensive resource onboarding process, expanding our team of native Canadian French translators with expertise in e-learning localisation. By investing in recruiting linguists specifically for this language pair and domain, we enhanced our capacity to handle the growing volume of work from Neovation.
Recognizing the distinct differences between Canadian and European French, we ensured our linguists had the necessary cultural knowledge and localisation skills to adapt content appropriately. This included accounting for variations in vocabulary, syntax, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references unique to French-speaking Canada.
More importantly, we assigned a dedicated project manager to ensure smooth communication, efficient project coordination, and timely delivery of the localised e-learning content.
